July 21, 2010: Kasson and Keller is proud to be participating in the department of energy's building technologies program for highly insulating R5 windows.
The US Department of Energy’s Building Technologies Program (BTP) is coordinating a volume purchase of R5 windows and low-e storm windows, to expand the market of these high efficiency products. Price has been the principal barrier to more widespread market commercialization. Federal Tax Credits
With our DOE – R5 and ST glazing packages, EcoShield vinyl windows meet or exceed the efficiency criteria for Federal Tax Credits under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.
